TONY ADAMS FROM DISCOVER THE OUTDOORS TV SHOW PROUD OF HIS FIRST ROYAL SLAMTo the Royal Slam seekers, Sierra Madre Hunting Adventures offers the Goulds turkey hunt, which is one of the most challenging ones. The Gould is legally hunted only in Mexico and favors rocky and mountainous areas from 6,500 up to 9,000 feet elevations. This Bird resembles the Merriams subspecies, but with whiter tail and rump feathers, longer legs, larger feet and larger central tail feathers. The gobblers dark body feathers have a greenish gold iridescence. Tom's can weight up to 30 pounds. Our hunts are fair chase through the hillsides of the Sierra Madre by a previous transportation in 4 X 4 vehicles followed by foot scouting. We had a very succesful 2007 spring season, receiving in our facilities 33 hunters and we killed 42 turkeys,
